You can delete your MiPhy account and its data at any time. This page works without signing in. During the beta every feature is free, so there is nothing to cancel or pay.
Fastest way: in the app
- Open MiPhy and sign in.
- Tap your photo (top right) to open Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.
Your photos and videos are deleted first, then your account and everything in it, straight away. This cannot be undone.
If you have not finished setting up the app, tap Delete my account at the bottom of the consent or setup screens instead.
Without the app
Send an email to support@miphyfitness.com from the email address you use to sign in to MiPhy, with the subject "Delete my MiPhy account".
We may send a code to that address to confirm it is you. We will delete your account within 7 days and reply when it is done.
Delete some data, keep your account
You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can:
- delete single entries, meals, photos and form videos;
- delete your AI coach chat;
- turn Keep my photos off in Profile → Privacy, so no new photos are kept and the MiPhy team can no longer see your photos;
- turn AI help off in Profile → Privacy, so nothing new is sent to our AI provider.
To have other data deleted without closing your account, email support@miphyfitness.com.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, profile photo, email address, language, units, time zone and plan
- Your sign-in details and your approximate sign-in city and country
- Your beta access record
- Your consent records
- Your setup answers, including health, body and food information and the follow-up answers about any health condition
- Your food, water, steps, activity, habit and workout logs, foods you added and your meal library
- Your routines, your own calorie and protein targets, and your steps and water goals
- Your body stats (weight, body-fat %, muscle mass) and body measurements
- Your posture photos and meal photos
- Form videos, if you uploaded any
- Your mindfulness sessions and "Make today fit your day" entries
- Your weekly check-ins and your plans
- Your AI coach chat messages, and any safety flags and reports on them
- Your "Coming to MiPhy" votes
- A website enquiry record, if it was linked to your account
What is kept, and for how long
- Copies on your own phone: photos or videos you saved to your phone's gallery stay on your phone. Remove them there if you want to.
- AI provider: messages and meal photos already sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) stay in its systems for up to 30 days in normal cases, or longer for requests flagged for possible misuse, as its terms allow. They are not used to train its models.
- AI usage record: a cost record of each AI request (feature, model, amount of text, cost) stays in our records without the link to you. It never contains your messages.
- Beta codes: a code you used stays in our records (the code and the date used), without the link to your account.
- Backups: deleted data can remain in our database provider's backups for up to 7 days, and in our own backup copies for up to 12 weeks, after which it is overwritten.
- Security logs: server logs (such as IP address and time of request) are kept for up to 7 days.
- Record of admin views: the record of who opened which account in the admin screen, and when, is kept for up to 2 years. After deletion it holds only an internal ID number, not your name or anything you logged.
- Record of your request: if you asked us by email, we keep a record of your request (your email address, what you asked and when we did it) for up to 3 years, to show we met the law. Support emails are kept for up to 12 months after the last message.
- Sign-in emails already delivered stay in your inbox, and our email provider (Resend) keeps them for up to 30 days.
- Website enquiry records that were never linked to an app account are not removed by deleting the app account. Email us to have one deleted.
- Google sign-in: if you used "Continue with Google", you can also remove MiPhy from the third-party connections in your Google Account.
